Product Descrpition: only 300 copies worldwide, we only have 1 deck for sale. This deck is very rare and precious.
78 cards inspired by 20th century artists whose works can be found in museums in Europe and around the world. Based on the Rider-Waite-Smith system. Each card is influenced by more than one artist. A random selection: Hannah Höch, Hilma af Klint, Sonia Delaunay-Terk, Leonora Carrington, Rene Magritte, Evelyn de Morgan, John William Waterhouse, Henri Rousseau, Dante Gabriel Rosseti, Tamara de Lempicka, Paul Gauguin, Felix Valotton, Gustav Klimt, Frida Kahlo, Max Ernst...
This Tarot project started as a fun experiment and tinkering with artificial intelligence and Habetrot's understanding and experience with tarot. It was not intended for publication at first. We were convinced that such tarot cards would soon flood the market and nobody would wait for Habetrot's interpretation. We were right and wrong.
Our approach of combining the aesthetics of many artists and carefully moderating the AI input is our unique offering. Unique enough to print 300 copies and send them out into the world? Habetrot would be delighted!
What you will get:
78 cards, digitally printed on high-quality german 330 gsm playing card stock with a black core, varnished for extra durability. Digital printing allows for detailed and nuanced printing. The card quality is flexible, durable and a dream to shuffle. It spreads well, which was very important to us. The print shop is located in Hamburg/Germany. This means that production quality is impeccable. In our opinion, this justifies the slightly higher price compared to overseas production.
A sturdy box and a booklet with the keywords and short explanation for each card in English and German.
